Davisha Dadone
A working makeup artist since 1989, Davisha has worked for some of the most prestigious makeup lines in the world, including MAC, Shu Uemura, and Make Up For Ever. Besides the training on these lines, she has also received training on Laura Mercier, Mirabella, Pevonia, Halina Andre, and so far 400 hours of Esthetician school to further round out her extensive experience and knowledge.
Her love of makeup was founded in an education of Fine Arts that began in High School and continued through College, where her intuition for color, shading, composition and artistic creativity were given full attention. The result of several years of a formal Arts curriculum formed a solid base from which makeup seemed a natural extension.
This accumulation of information enables Davisha to give thorough assessments of her client’s possibilities, no matter what result the client is looking for. From high-fashion to a no-makeup look, from Bridal to editorial, she will listen to your expectations and deliver a customized look which bests suits the occasion.
Throughout her career, Davisha has worked on numerous celebrity clientele which includes Betsey Johnson, Carre Otis, Bebe Neuwirth, Doetzen Kroes, Whoopi Goldberg, and Estella Warren to name a few. She has gained a multitude of experience through numerous fashion weeks, television shows, independent films and MTV videos. Davisha’s work has been featured on The View, and in magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Vibe. She has had the honor of being quoted in Vogue magazine as well as on The Associated Press and many other venues. She is pleased to have worked alongside such makeup artists and stylists as JJ, Scott Barnes, Eric Polito, Cynthia Sobek, Hagen Linss, Rebecca Weinberg, and Patricia Field.
